Connecting SFTP to your Pterodactyl service


To connect to your Pterodactyl service using SFTP, you'll need to follow these steps:

  1. Install an SFTP client on your computer. Some popular options include FileZilla and WinSCP.

  2. Open the SFTP client and enter the following information:

    • Host: the IP address or domain name of your Pterodactyl service (you can find this on our panel at "Settings" when selecting your service)
    • Port: 2022
    • User: the username for your server (you can find this on our panel at "Settings" when selecting your service)
    • Password: the password for your server user (this is the password that you are using to log in to our panel)

  3. Click "Connect" to establish the SFTP connection.

  4. If the connection is successful, you should see a list of files and directories on your Pterodactyl service. You can now browse, download, and upload files as needed.
